    Guessing Jozy is not going to be playing tomorrow. Not sure if thats a good thing or bad thing. Wanted him just to get a half in. Rio Ferdinand also left hurt yesterday, and left to have his knee scanned.

    I was just looking for this thread. Looks like Texas has become the favorites for Austin Seferian-Jenkins out of Washington. He's still waiting for an offer, but it looks like it could come any day now. Its dumb to become excited about a recruiting class this early, but if they get him, Malcolm Brown, and Josh Turner this will be the best Texas class ever.

    Truth. I'll obviously be disappointed if the US doesn't show well and advance out of the group stage, but I'm going to enjoy every other match I'll be able to watch (which will be as many as possible). Plus there are at least 12 teams more entertaining to watch than the US.

    Also a great way to market the team and game after the high of the WC. Is it at the new Meadowlands Stadium? Nevermind just found it is. That could sell out or at least close.

    If we don't advance out of the group, it's a massive failure. We're going to lose to England, but Slovenia and Algeria are teams we should beat. As far as the general mood, Saturday's game will be telling. We're going to see the first XI in that one. We will be looking for a new coach too if that happens. A lot more curious to Saturday night now. I think I am more concerned with the backline now more than anything.

    I was looking at his K/9 rate the other day. His 2008 season should be remembered as one of the best by a setup man ever.

    The theory is, you can throw out the overall regular season numbers for the Flyers because they got hot for the playoffs, and are still hot. Hot or a favorable schedule? The east was a complete mess, partially because of Montreal. I really have no idea what to think or expect. They should have gone down to Boston.

    Is that real or fan made? Either way, very awesome. That's a great ad campaign. Guessing real just because of the others I have seen on VS and the NHL network.

    I wouldnt worry about that hapening for the same reason I wouldnt worry about him going to the Cards. Unless the Stros want to completely alienate their fan base for years to come, they wont send their ace and long time fan fav to a division rival. That and Drayton McClane is going to want a lot more than he will get for him. The Astros fan base already sucks so I wouldn't worry about that.

    Milito's finishing in the box was superb. The best team won. The special one is going to be commanding a salary higher than most players. Too bad I have to hate him next year when he is at Real.

    Dexter Pittman's brother was shot and killed last night. Pittman has now left the combine this weekend to go back home.

    That was fantastic. Loved bearded trailer Rooney. That was great. Too bad they couldn't edit out Ronaldhino. That part made me chuckle. He's still an alternate on their 30, so I suppose theoretically he could still go. True, I would have rather seen Ocho Cinco in the video though :-)
