  1. I would pick Cedeno. He should have been charged with that error too. No way are you going to turn a DP in that situation. Get atleast that out at 2b. Cedeno is proving that he is not a clutch player.
  2. Barrett has a really hard time handling off-speed pitches, and he is probably the worst catcher in the league at blocking pitches in the dirt.
  3. Lackey pitched another solid game for the Halos tonight. 7 Innings. 1ER, 0 BB, 6 K's.
  4. Haren vs Lackey tonight. Probably one of the better pitching matchups you will see all year.
  5. Theriot looks like a freaking stud with that stache.
  6. I Completely agree with you.
  7. Dustin Moseley pitched one hell of a game for the Angels last night to help them improve to 4-1 on the season. John Lackey will take the mound today for the Halos.
  8. Rich Hill pitched a really solid game today. Located all of his pitches really well, changed speeds, and established the inside part of the plate early on in the game. Nice job.
  9. Nope.
  10. HOLY CRAP! I was just in Tax Law and gave out a sighed grunt when I saw Barret's passed ball. Barrett is a horrible defensive catcher. He has to catch that ball in that situation. Ohman made a bad pitch, but Barrett made a lazy attempt in trying to get it.
  11. Against Griffey? I would rather see Eyre out there than Wuertz against Griffey.
  12. Colon and Weaver have back-to-back rehab starts at Rancho Cucamonga the next two days. I might have free tickets to tomorrow's game. Im so jealous right now.
  13. Halos start the year 3-0 with a 5-3 victory today. If Colon and Weaver can get healthy and stay healthy, that rotation should be considered the leagues best. Lackey(07 CY winner), Escobar, Colon, Santana, Weaver. Thats real solid.
  14. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/150302.jpg vs: http://cincinnati.reds.mlb.com/images/2006/09/13/tl6SHr7z.jpg Big game for the Cubs tomarrow. Go into Milwaukee with a 2-1 record sounds good to me. Ted Lilly pitched his ass off tonight, Ryan Theriot had a really nice bunt late in the game, and Mark DeRosa had a clutch hit late in the game as well. Im expecting Marquis to pitch the Cubs to a victory tomarrow. Go Cubs!!!
  15. Garland is having a hard time getting his sinker down in the zone.
  16. If Carp was on the Cubs, he would skip his next start, make the one after that, and feel pain again. Then they would do another MRI and they would realize he has to have Tommy John surgery. But since he's on the Cardinals, he'll skip his next start, make the one after that, and give up a couple hits and no runs in however many innings they let him go. Would not surprise me at all. Also, wanna bet Kip Wells wins at least 15-16 games this year? Looper will probably win 15-16 games as well.
  17. Sammy singles up the middle in his first AB against Escobar. 2-0 LAA
  18. Lackey is my guy. Little high on the walks tonight, but he pitched himself out of the jams.
  19. Carlos showed some real solid control today. Im sorry, but a staff ace does not walk five batter's in a game. I know it was his first start of the year, but he need to learn how to control his pitches. Pretty pathetic outing by Carlos today.
  20. CSN+ = CLTV in Chicagoland; Channel 31 for Roast. http://chicago.cubs.mlb.com/images/gameday/mugshots/mlb/150404.jpg vs: http://images.usatoday.com/sports/_photos/2006/05/02/arroyo.jpg Not a good start to the 07 season with the loss today, but im expecting Lilly to pitch a real solid game for the Cubs. Go Cubs!!!
