He's a decent player who brings something to the table so few players on the team brings, and his cost/production ratio is among the best on the squad. But he's nothing special, and hardly a cornerstone player. Assuming they get something decent for him in a trade I wouldn't bat an eye if he's traded. Given his age and career path he probably doesn't have much time left being a solid contributor.
