    I agree. I think it is probably the worst political impression they've ever done. I don't even think he has his cadence or mannerisms down. But, others disagree, so he must be doing something right (though I don't see it). I thought the bit was very funny (including the Cubs part). Bill Murray being part of made it seem fun and not mean spirited. I thought the look on his face when they were saying the Cubs would never win was priceless. Yes! it was awesome...Like telling a kid there's no Santa....

    I don't sense alot of red/cubs animosity....I regularly go to Cubs games up in Cincy and it has always seemed like a good natured rivalry. Reds fans and Cubs fan co-exist pretty nicely and respectfully there. Of course, that could be 'cause the Reds are so bad, there's not much of a rivalry!

    So, they implement touchpads to improve the accuracy of recording finishes...and Cavic's coach wants them to review the camera footage of the finish????

    He did...I can't believe he didn't out touch Phelps! It's like he was swimming through mud at the touch.... it's more than you don't have anything to propel you. you can do butterfly kick on top of the water but it's not very fast. i can tell you that when you're swimming, you don't feel good about either finish. ideally, you'd finish with a full stroke and arms fully outstretched. cavic was between strokes and he kicked into the wall; phelps was between strokes and had to take a quick extra stroke. Poor Cavic...can you imagine him watching that finish over and over? heartbreaking...I almost feel sorry for him...
