    No kidding. That's the same thing I said to my girlfriend, and she said "Are you really obsessive to the Cubs, and do you really think you could manage the team better?" My answers to both questions was yes, and she didn't like it a bit. You need a girlfriend who's a Cubs fan!

    I agree...I was surprised to see Maddux go back out in the 8th...I thought it was great that he pitched 7 without much damage. But...I think what killed them last night was Burnitz's at bat in the bottom of the 7th (?) when there were men on 1st and 3rd, one out, and he popped up on the first dang pitch he saw...I thought the game was over then... :evil:

    He rocked. He mashed a two run triple and a two-run blast to center. He looked completely comfortable. It's a shame that he ROTTED on the bench for most of the season.
