  1. NO, YOU GO BACK
  2. Tell you what, the next time there's a Cubs walkoff HR I bet that the Cubs player gets mobbed at home and Santo goes nuts on the radio. Would you like to bet against that?
  3. That team marketing report has got to be messed up. All the beers at Busch stadium are 16 oz and are 8 bucks at the absolute cheapest.
  4. I'm guessing that's a terribly misguided rip on Cano. Yankee Stadium - .315 .374 .553 .927 "Away" Stadium - .346 .402 .573 .975 He's pretty good.
  5. I know what you mean, but every fan base is like that. Like someone said earlier, lots of fans believe that Lou getting ejected energized the team. Or the Zambrano - Barrett fight kicked things off. Etc, etc.
  6. The chances are much higher than that.
  7. Brandon Phillips calls Molina a bitch then tries to say hello by tapping his shin guard and Molina is the hardass by basically telling to STFU? And then Phillips tries it again? If Phillips doesn't call him a bitch, nothing happens. It's pretty simple. At least Phillips and the Reds have backed it up by losing both games and Phillips has gone 1-10. Molina's mocking of Phillips home run trot was pretty clutch though.
  8. Done. You have the weirdest strategy. This is your second move of the season picking up someone who has less HRs than the person you dropped. Needless to say, you're still in the Top 10. Just gut feelings. I think ARod has some sort of nagging injury. He hasn't looked right for awhile.
  9. I still think Suppan has been decent. He's not what he once was, though. Now that we have Westbrook, Suppan probably will be out of the rotation, as long as Hawksworth continues to do well. I hated losing Ludwick, though. Probably didn't matter if the Brewers kept Suppan or not, since the Brewers team ERA (4.94) is higher than Suppan's ERA with the Cardinals (4.75). Opposing batters are hitting .333 .395 .537 .932 against Suppan. If his pitching line were a batter's line, here is where that batter would rank among all MLB players. BA - 5th OBP - 10th SLG - 16th OPS - 12th That's not decent. He turns opposing batters into Robinson Cano.
  10. I guess that was to free up a spot for Jarrod Saltalamacchia.
  11. Not at all. It's perfectly normal for a rookie to have a .396 batting average. A .446 BABIP and 16.1 LD% seems perfectly normal to me.
  12. That is so [expletive] bad I still can't wrap my head around it.
  13. He's got speed dude. Stole 76 bases last year with 20 CS. 79%, Not bad at all. Now check out this year. 36 steals and 27 CS. That seems impossible.
  14. TO to the Bengals. 1 yr 2 mil contract with 2 mil in incentives.
  15. I don't think there's any way he's made available. As for his IP limit, not really sure. They've done a really good job with his pitch counts and pulling him if he begins to labor. He's gone over 100 pitches in 6 of 19 starts and only gone over 105 twice.
  16. The Astros are in a real bad spot though. They are bad and will be bad for the next few years. Oswalt has a no trade clause and has really only shown interest in STL. So they can keep him and be a bad team with a 16 mil per year pitcher, or try to get at least something out of him and still be a bad team but get 18 mil in salary relief. They can gamble on keeping him and offering arbitration for the compensation picks, but an injury or a terrible season and that idea is gone as well.
  17. DeJesus may be out for the year. What happened to Gordon at 3B? Wasn't he a pretty good defensive 3B? Highly touted and has the tools, but UZR has him as a tick below average. Dayton Moore is such an idiot though. Gordon was sent down because of their "infield depth." That depth was Callaspo, Aviles, Yuniesky Betancourt, Chris Getz, Willie Bloomquist and Wilson Betemit.
  18. Maybe he's improving.
  19. Ooh, there's number 3
  20. I don't know. That's only 2 and Suppan usually doesn't make it out of the 5th.
