For some reason people love him in STL. He's "keeping them in the game." They don't seem to mind that it's 100% luck and that giving up a few runs in a few innings and exhausting the bullpen isn't really keeping them in the game all that much. I mean I'm glad that for the most part the other teams haven't scored that much off him, but he's been awful. I'm a Cardinals fan, but every at bat against him has 1 of 3 results. 1. Walk 2. Smoked 3. Just missed it

lol I don't really know what to make of him though. His stuff doesn't seem to be overpowering. He's actually been better on the road than home, which is unreal. All of his pitches carry positive value this year. HIS LOB% is high this year, but his BABIP is pretty low, much like last year. He's so weird I would sell as high as possible if I were San Diego. -
Instead of only having All Stars in the derby they need to just get the guys that can hit moon shots. Get Dunn, Blanks, Reynolds etc. in there hitting them a mile.

Olivo, McCann and Soto should have been a no brainer. And I do not understand Infante in any way. Manuel either lost a bet and had to select him or won a bet by selecting him. That's got to be the only explanation.

Lots of Cardinal fans have no sense of reality. They'll talk about how clutch Suppan going 4 2/3 giving up 3ER with a WHIP of 2.2 is, but then they'll want to run Holliday out of town because, well, I don't know why or Rasmus because he "strikes out too much". And most of them believe that something is really wrong with Albert. Just a weird bunch of fans.

He has such a slow bat that his .257 seems about where it should be. It's like he chooses one AB per game to swing hard and then hits weak groundballs to 2nd every other.
