  1. San Diego gonna get Maclin?
  2. Andre Smith to Bengals. Surprising.
  3. Sanchez has a better work ethic, a better arm, hell he's better than Leinart in about every way.
  4. I wonder if it's because of the rumors of the Dorsey trade. Seattle takes Curry.
  5. Eff you Chiefs. I wanted Curry.
  6. And of all the WR they want Heyward-Bey?
  7. Here's a wacky rumor... Atlanta has had talks with Kansas City about Glenn Dorsey for their first rounder. The Lions offered #20 and #33 for the Chiefs #3 pick. The Chiefs turned that deal down.
  8. Cardinals lineup 1. 2B Brendan Ryan 2. CF Colby Rasmus 3. 1B Albert Pujols 4. RF Ryan Ludwick 5. C Yadier Molina 6. LF Chris Duncan 7. SS Khalil Greene 8. 3B Brian Barden 9. SP Mitch Boggs
  9. Kindly explain how in the [expletive] Rick cokehead Ankiel has a better track record than Geovany Soto. Geovany had a .855 career OPS in AAA while Ankiel had a .871 career OPS in AAA. The difference I see is that Ankiel has always displayed great power and was pretty consistent throughout the minors while Geovany was consistently mediocre at hitting until 2007 when he had a 80 point jump in average and 340 point jump in OPS from 2006. More than half (26 of 51) of Geovany's home runs throughout his entire minor league career including all levels (A, AA, AAA and rookie league) came in that 2007 season. Ankiel has always been a power guy who has little patience. Geovany has not always been a power guy who puts up a very good average for his position. Thank you. Like I said, I'm not trolling, I just wonder why everyone assumes Soto is gonna be fine. Seems like everyone gives him a pass and transfers the blame on everyone else when he's the least proven player in the lineup. As for the cokehead thing, ok, I guess? I guess I understand hating the Cards since you're a Cubs fan and everything, but making things up seems desperate and foolish.
  10. I'm not trolling, but aren't you guys concerned? 1 good minor league year and a good rookie year. Personally, Ludwick and Ankiel scare the hell out of me. And they have better track records than Soto. I know he's "Geovany Soto" and everything, just can't believe that you're not more concerned.
  11. 7-3 Cards Pujols with 2 HR
  12. 2-1 Cards in the 4th. Dave Bush has something going against Philadelphia.
  13. It's a song that has been around for years. Wikipedia is your friend. I could tell the song was 20 years old, I was just wondering if it was always played and/or if it is just big now because of the winning. I never heard it on WGN growing up and was just curious.
  14. I obviously think the Go Cubs Go thing is lame, but when did that come about? I hadn't heard it until like 2 years ago. Not trolling or anything, but is it just a song that you play when you think you have a good team or something? I just don't get it.
  15. Cards over the Mets 5-1 after 5.
  16. I can't. No TV. I take it there's a piece on Josh Hamilton right now? Not having a TV makes me feel like I'm Patrick Fugit from Almost Famous, and everyone with a TV is Billy Crudup An hour long program simply called "Josh Hamilton." It was an interview with Rick Reilly at his old high school gym.

  18. Anybody happen to know much about Boyer? This looks like a not so smart smart move to me.
  19. I see what you did there.
  20. I don't think you'd want wolf or me managing the team.
  21. Randy Johnson has something going through 6 IP.
  22. Were you guys as frustrated by the strike zone as I was? I thought it was all over the damn place, on both sides.
