I went to Bradley University. I can confirm that due to the breweries in the area, Peoria does NOT smell tasty and in fact makes me gag just thinking about it. -
The best rivalry in sports as far as I'm concerned. Lately the Cubs have crapped the bed anytime they play in St Lou. So glad that Pujols is gone but WTF is up with David Freese?

1-6 now Brewers are a pretty good club, Nats are improved. That being said the Cubs offense has been absolutely terrible. I didn't expect much but I thought this team had a shot at .500 I think I was overly optimistic.

Historically bad wouldn't change much for me. As long as the organization is doing the things to make future success more attainable I'm fine. The trouble to me is that Hendry left things in such a mess that it'll take several years to turn things around. I'm not getting any younger and neither is my Dad. More than anything, I want my 79 year old Dad to see the Cubs win a World Series.

He doesn't deserve a standing ovation, if for no other reason than he's playing for the opposing team. We generally agree on most things TT, but I have to disagree with you on this one. ARam was a stud with the Cubs and deserves some recognition from the crowd even if he's a Brewer. I'm not watching but it sounds like he got something less than this so the meatheads are in attendance.

I can't watch but I would be interested to hear about the crowd in an inning or two. 6pm starts are a tough trip for people that worked during the day so I would tend to agree that it's a late crowd.
