looks like he's trying to hit the ball into the lake. He's probably thinking the Cubs love Floyd so he's trying to imitate him in every way. He's doing a pretty good job so far. except that murton is an inferior hitter by far

whats kinda funny is looking at the top 10 teams in taking the BB. there are some pretty bad teams up there. i would guess maybe boston and 3-4 other teams have more BB than walks given

barry bonds cheated. the peeps in SF who care more about the cheat breaking Hank's HR record than winning can delude themselves all they want (which btw, Arod will be breaking Bonds' record in the next 10 years anyway).

It's not the FA class that I'm upset about. Let's be honest, this class was complete garbage and it is real pathetic how guys like Rashard Lewis are getting max deals. But I'm upset with Paxson's inability to pull a trigger on a deal. If those rumors were right, Paxson had to have been crazy to not pull the deal on Gasol. Does anyone really expect this team (with no real upgrades) to go farther than we were this past season? Cleveland isn't going to get any worse and we still can't match up with Detroit's guards. yes, since most of the bulls core players are young and still improving. cant say that about anyone on detroit, or cleveland really (face it cavs fan lebron is extremely mature for his age and his peak wont be much better than he is now)

He might not be if they decide to go with Durant over Oden which seems like a possibility. The ability Durant has for not being able break a Twix bar is amazing. I would think he can bulk up seeing as he's only 19-year old, but Oden should be the no-doubt first pick overall. I wouldn't pass up Oden either, but did you see some of the results from Durant's workouts? Durant looks like a better player right now though. I have a feeling he can dominate the NBA. I'm not sure if Oden will ever be able to put it all together offensively. He will still be a pretty damn good center if he doesn't though, so its a tough call.

There are very few "top hitters" as unproductive as Soriano. Most top hitters maintain solid numbers and get their great numbers out of streaks. The problem with Soriano is he's not a top hitter. He needs his hot streaks just to keep his numbers out of the trash bin. He needs the Pittsburgh Pirates to stay out of the trash bin. 24 of his 72 total bases are vs. Pirates pitching. That's one third of his production. stuf like this makes me lol

why are you so intent in defending young? I'm not defending Young, I'm just looking at it from an objective perspective and Lee looks like the bad guy in this one. No he doesn't Lee was the first one to throw a punch. if there was nothing racial said, it's Lee's fault, plain and simple. Go cheer for the Padres. It has nothing to do with cheering for the Padres. I want the Cubs to win, but I'm not watching the game with my Cubs blinders on. The visual evidence is pointing toward Lee starting the fight without any significant verbal provocation. yah, he just a had baseball intentionally thrown at him. nothing verbal though :roll:
