Why? I think people, including myself are pointing out that we are no longer hot and playing above .500 baseball. during a completely arbitrary period selected solely to support your own opinion. give it a rest. Give what a rest? Defending my point? It's not like I'm selecting random dates. I'm selecting the last 13 games that the Cubs have played, a stretch that constitutes 8% of the season in order to say that the Cubs have not been hot over the past 13 games. But you're right, the next time I have an opinion, it will be better for me to select stats that completely refute my opinion. Thanks for the advice. What is their record in the last 14 games? What is their record in the last 15 games? What is their record in the last 16 games? 7-7 8-7 9-7 Although I don't see how those questions are relevant to my previous statistic. The Cubs were on the tail end of a hot streak, and since the first game against the DBacks, they have not played consistently good baseball. They were hot, and now they are playing mediocre. It's a very simple point that I am trying to make. At least Truffle understands... they are 4-3 in their last 7.
