    Classy comments by Raycroft re. last night's game: I'm looking forward to going back and watching last night's game and tomorrow night's game on the DVR. Hopefully I won't be watching two losses.

    Late start doesn't work out better for you? What do you do? I'm getting married on Saturday. People are already in town and a ton more are getting here tonight. So I'll probably be around to catch a few minutes, but it's pretty hectic at this point. I do have the game recording though. :)

    It's a nice thing that the Hawks can give Kane all the time he needs to rest. Hoping to cach a few minutes of tonight's game...need to record it.

    I really love McCann, but as the time grows near I'll have to evaluate which pool is deeper, MI or catcher. I'll probably be selecting around the 6th pick or so, so theres a decent chance I could draft whoever I don't pick. I have to imagine the difference between Phillips and the other 2Bs will be greater than the difference between McCann and the other available catchers. So even if you keep Phillips and don't get McCann in the draft, it won't be terrible. I'm just always skeptical about putting too much stock in catchers. They are almost always easily replaceable.

    I sort of doubt Fedoruk will get suspended, though he should. There is absolutely no reason Walker should be suspended. The on-ice officials called it perfectly. Jovo was just being a pansy. Next time they face each other though, look out. Wherever they are, whenever it is, they are going to throw down.

    It is pretty bad, but the Pro Bowl is by far the worst of them all. Mostly because the season is over and absolutely nobody cares about football the week after the Super Bowl.

    That may be true. I don't know how the rest of the roster is filled in after the fan voting. Campbell is 4th in the league in scoring by defenseman with 28 points. Keith has 23. Campbell is a +7, and Keith, as I said before, is a +24. Both deserve to be there. We should be focusing on Toews for taking Keith's spot.

    I think the reason that Keith didnt make it is because the Hawks fans stuffed the ballot boxes with the wrong defenseman. The NHL chose the names that would appear on the ballot. If Keith was put on their instead of Campbell, he'd be the one starting.

    Patrik Berglund has been our best player this year. Frankly, no Blue deserves an all-star nod. I agree. I thought of Boyes because of his goals, but I just looked up his stats. He's a -22. That's worst in the entire league. Wow.

    No Keith or Sharp on All-Star team: http://www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=262276&lid=headline&lpos=secStory_nhl I can understand Sharp being left off, but Keith not being on the team is criminal. I understand each team has to be represented and that doesn't leave many roster spots, but the guy is a +24 playing nearly 30 minutes per game. The other head-scratcher is Tkachuk going as the Blues representative over Boyes.

    We won't be seeing Phoenix in the playoffs, unfortunately. But next year, I hope someone remembers last night and gives Fedoruk a beating. People are focusing so much on what Walker did. Fedoruk was the real crook.

    LOL Toews again. This is awesome. Cyno, you were right man. I gave Phoenix way too much credit today when I thought they might actually show up. Wow, here we go.

    Walker gave him one blast before Jovo even got his gloves off. Opened up a massive cut over his eye. Blood everywhere. Only took about 2 seconds.

    Was that one on Seabrook? If so, I'm with you. That's a tough call.

    Konroyd just made a pretty good point. Phoenix isn't putting up much of a fight here at all...seems they have written this one off. And he's filling in pretty well tonight, btw. His Canadian-isms and pronunciations make me laugh.
