    14 will be the max. There is one spot left. I'm confident that most, if not all the teams will be active for the entire season. Excellent. That was a big problem last year. It's not that hard to at least minimally keep a team up, even if your team sucks.

    Thanks UNC for snapping my three-game losing streak last night. I guess my early success made me think this was easy. Joke's on me.

    It's crazy that we say that with St. Louis being in the cellar, but they have played the Hawks so tough this year. And their offense is much improved with MacDonald back in the lineup. All the talk here, at least before Tuesday's bad loss against Vancouver, was about how the Blues are still in the playoff race despite being 15th in the conference. They are pretty close to mailing it in. The Hawks need to give them a shove in that direction.

    I'm admittedly irrational about the guy. I just don't have any confidence in him. Yes, he plays well at times, but he doesn't seem to win games like Khabi has this year. Yes, he's above-average. But he's not the best option right now. I am not in support of trading Khabi at the deadline, even if it means allowing the team to upgrade the offense. Obviously Huet is going to be around long-term, so I hope the guy plays well.

    I'd try to fit Sharp in there for the roofer, but no doubt Khabi was #1. What more needs to happen for Q to come off this rotation business? If I have to watch Huet flail around Friday night, I'm going to be one unhappy human.

    Wow, honestly, I didn't even realize Keith was in this game until he just got that penalty.

    It's the small things I like about Khabi this year. On that in-close shot by Peverly he was out just enough to give him no space and the puck went off his shoulder. OMFG and then he STONED them!

    Refs gave us one there by blowing that whistle. It's a separate question of whether that guy crashed into the net, but that puck was in before the net came off.

    That was a bit too close there. I watched it 3 times more in real time and it always looked much closer than it did when they showed the overhead cam. Whatever, the Hawks are clearly playing down to their competition tonight.

    The first time I tried to set up my league last night it did that. I just hit "back" and tried again and it worked. I would imagine they are overloaded with people setting up leagues.

    I'm still in a sour mood over that one. And yes, rushing the court (or whatever we're calling it) was ridiculous. You do it when you beat a top-five team, not when you beat a team full of kids who still suck. I'm not denying this is sour grapes.

    I will be shocked if the Cards sign Hudson. They have spent this entire offseason not spending a dime. They are not going to drop Kennedy and pay his salary and sign another guy to play his position.
