Blues waived Legace today: http://www.stltoday.com/stltoday/sports/stories.nsf/blues/story/57D5F437804A667B86257555005B5616?OpenDocument He's been awful this year, and Mason has improved a lot lately. But he was a fan favorite. It's too bad the Blues haven't been able to get it together this year. Injuries, lack of depth in Peoria, and probably a bit of Andy Murray wearing out his welcome have brought this team to where it is. They are drawing very well, averaging well over 18,000 the last time I checked (sellout is 19,150), but I have a feeling Checketts and Davidson are getting to the end of the fans' patience. Also, in an interesting story the Hawks don't have to worry about (anymore), season-ticket holders have really begun to grouse about all the cheap tickets being sold right now. I posted about a month ago about that ticket deal where I got 2 tickets to four remaining games of my choosing for less than $9/ticket. There is a lot of noise that the STH base is going to erode and people are just going to go ala carte if that's the way it's going to be.
