    I was lukewarm on this before. But including Olson? So we just traded Pie and Cedeno for Heilman. WTFF?!

    I don't know if this a dumb question, but in games like that how bad is the goalie? I can understand even 5 goals, but 10? It has to be a combination of everything. In that game the Hawks played against Edmonton, everything was clicking AND the goalie wasn't tip-top. Plus, in both that game and the one last night (and in pretty much every game where more than 6 goals are scored) more than one goalie was in on the action. So you have to think it's more the offense and a lack of effort from the defense.

    Looks like the Sooners are gonna win Bedlam and push me to 4-0. Can't say I've really picked any tough ones so far, but I guess you don't get any more points for being daring.

    I'm not quite sure what you mean. The Streakmaster picks a certain number of matchups each day. Those matchups are the ones that he feels are the closest things to tossups in that day's action. That's why if a high profile game has one team favored by quite a bit, you will see some sort of prop bet instead on the game that is much more even. But everybody has the same matchups available to them if they are at 0 or 26 wins. What I meant was, are the games available to be picked different at all for different players? So if someone is at 26, let's say, are there fewer games or tougher picks available for them to make?

    I'm just full of questions here...as you get higher up in your streak, does it basically limit the number of games you can call to toss-ups?

    Yep, it's one per time slot. If you pick you can't pick again until your game ends. Usually if you pick everything it's about 3-4 picks a day. Thanks!

    why would you hate when they sing the canadian anthem in french in french canada? I understand why they do it, I just don't like it as much. My favorite Canadian anthems were in Edmonton during the '06 (I think) cup finals. That guy in the tux sang the first few bars and then handed it over to the crowd. That was impressive.

    Yeah, I gotta admit, I didn't know they had gospel choirs in Canada. And I hate when they sing that [expletive] in French. I thought I was special cuz I knew the words on account of seeing so many hockey games. And then they go and change the language.
