    He plays 70-90 games a year with guys who have 50 pounds on him and know it. He's tougher than you could imagine. And in the regular season, he was not getting hit like the guys are right now. And like he did the other night. And what happened when he did get hit? He started carving guys' faces up.

    I'm not speaking for Cyno, cuz I was the one calling Kane a wuss here in November. I agree with you. But TSN is saying Kane has the flu. So perhaps he needs to take a lesson from MJ.

    You little worry wart. At least we can root for a win... if it gets to that point where we can't win... we can hope for a Bourque/Iginla/Phaneuf injury. I didn't say I wasn't rooting for a win. I'm just not feeling it. I hope I'm wrong.

    I don't think the Hawks are going to pull this out because I think Bulin is going to give up another goal or two. He didn't have a good angle on the first goal, and he then gave up a few bad rebounds. He just hasn't looked sharp tonight. It didn't get noticed because the Flames had few decent chances through the first 35 minutes of the game. I'm not saying he should have stopped the first goal. But he left way too much open net for them to shoot at.

    That's really, really exagerating it. Now the Flames have to hold on for 20 minutes just to be down 2-1 with two road games still on the table for them. i think this series has been a lot closer than people here are acting like. the hawks are 2-0 but its been pretty evenly played throughout, and the flames are outplaying them tonight. they win this one and theyre one home win away from tying it and taking all the momentum You're supposed to win your home playoff games. I don't think winning them = having all the momentum.

    I'm not that pessimistic, but I am nervous. I heard a little Hawks talk on 670 this evening (about knocked me over -- Hawk talk on The Score!), and the host was arguing that this is the least important game of the series for the Hawks. I know what he was saying. It's far from time to panic if they lose this game.

    Not impressed with Versteeg's toughness right now. He was sitting on his can when that puck got cleared.

    I don't have a lot of confidence in Khabi right now. The TSN guys are talking like he's matching Kipper, but the chances haven't been nearly the same.

    there's only one innappropraite thing i can think of and i doubt the hawks would say that What... the reason he's overrated???? you think he's overrated becuase he's kind of black? isn't his dad african? that would make him really really black. and his name is elvis, which has an exponential effect on his son's blackness. but seriously, i can see race being an issue in hockey. it's not like the hawks have any black teammates to answer to if they make a racist comment. I don't mean to sound ignorant here, I don't know. Is Buff African-Canadian?

    Time to watch the rest of 24 now. Solid road period. I'm a little tired of all the completely unprovoked b.s. by the Flames after every whistle, but whatever.
