I was rooting for Detroit last night. Give me Phoenix in the first round, please. Over the last few days I sort of fell in love with the idea of jumping into the 4th seed. But need a lot to happen to get it now. I'm afraid of goaltenders who can get hot. The problem is, almost everyone in the West has that except us.
Well thanks for nothing St. Louis. Give up two goals in last six minutes and Detroit gets at least a point. Credit to the Wings though. Shows their mental strength and focus to come back in such a raucous building tonight.
Well, good news bad news on the concussion front. But the good news is way better. Toews likely back next week. And after that (apparently inadvertant) elbow he took the other night, Montador is out again with concussion-like symptoms. Much as I dislike his inconsistent play, I'm really glad we picked up Oduya.
Kruger just got served the GWG on a platter by Brodeur and couldn't finish. Wow. Don't mind sharing a point here though, obviously. Just get at least one.
Nice, have fun. This is huge to get him back to help fill in for Keith. Morrison is scratched, so they'll dress seven D. Probably not a bad call since Montador won't be 100% in game shape and O'Donnell is old. Toews also skated again today. Gotta think he's close. That's eight days in a row of being on the ice.
When the MVC was selling out the Scottrade Center a couple of years back, I think the amount was around 18,000 or so. It's 19,150 for hockey. Has to be more for basketball. Edit: attendance for Mizzou-Illinois game last year was 22,087.
