  1. I've also read reports that Lee called out his teammates once again, and said they were playing "flat." If this is true, Hendry has got to take control. Hendry will surely take control by trading that cancer Lee He's still "evalutating".
  2. I'll be drinking water. Better get a couple buckets down here. I'm basically going to be chugging throughout the whole segment. I hope I have a second or 2 to take a breath.
  3. "Obviously, Glendon has struggled a bit. But so has everybody. Yunno? But I have every confidence in Glendon that he'll turn it around". . . OP, wait, that second part sounded more like dusty.
  4. Yeah. He changed his underwear last week. . . . . I think.
  5. "Payroll, uhhhh.. . . . . it's gonna keep us from winning"
  6. We thought my dad had skin cancer for awhile and all tests came out negative. And I myself have gastritis so I get tests every once in awhile. So I know how that can hit you. I'll say a little prayer for you tonite. Did you catch it early?
  7. I know he mentioned him earlier in the article, but if Dempster was playing like the Dempster of last year, the Cubs would only be 10 games out....pretty much where they were last year as far as the standings go. How woulc they be 10 games out? The Cubs are 20 games out. Dempters has saved 14 of 19 opportunities (and it's sad there's only been 19 opportunities, isn't it?). That's 5 blown saves. Dempsters problems are part of the problem, but they are nowhere near the main problem.
  8. LOL no problem reminds me of cubs.com message board I came from there. That's where I found out about NSBB. I try to contain myself here though. did they talk in all small letters at cubs.com too? It appears that way doesn't it? Couldn't resist. OH YEAH!!?!?
  9. How about a replacement that would prefer to give Guzman a start over rusch. Or Murton starts over nevin? Or a replacement that would ask JH to bring Hill up to make starts? To start building for next year? Dusty would NEVER do that. He has some preconcieved notion that starting crappy veterans is "giving them the best chance to win". "Gotta respect that other team dude, and put your best team on the feild". . Our best team right now would be with Murton in LF, Theriot at 2B, and Guzman and Hill starting. .
  10. I've got a solution for Eyre. Dusty getting fired and the media not talking about it any more.
  11. Yeah, but it would be better for him to get over his lumps now, not in the first half of '07.
  12. He's critisized BECAUSE he doesn't do what's right for the CUBS first. Let him talk jim into bringing up Hill and The Riot and play them consistantly. Then he won't get critized. It's the right thing to do, there is no choice to make. But the fact that there IS a choice to make, is why Baker get's criticized. And rightfully so.
  13. What happened with jones and neifi? What inning was that in, I want to see that.

  15. How about 2 #2 starters and 1 Big bat. Or 1 #2 starter and 2 Big bats? Seriously, we need much more than just 1 Sp and 1 bat. And if it's not done then Hendry fails.
  16. Fatty Fatson, Fat fat. sorry.
  17. Um...I posted a link to both plays. Thank you, that was after I had posted. And I was just saying that to say, if you create a topic about a play, link to it so we can see it. I just saw that and who was calling that, larry the cable guy and the rednecks? "here he GOOOOES he steal HOOOOme!!"
  18. http://www.MLB.com Hope that helps. Yeah, thanks. By the way did you see that great play by patterson last year? That was great.
  19. In SUPERRRRRRRRRRR LOW DEFINITION!!! AND CRUDDY AUDIOOOOO!!!!!!
  20. The thing is, I'm not sure how having disagreements with Baker would keep Rothschild from doing things like helping to improve the control of our pitchers or trying to get our starting pitchers to become more economical, though. I'm sure Baker isn't telling Rothschild to make sure every young pitcher coming up from the farm system remains a wild man or that everybody on our staff should be turned into home run derby pitchers. Rothschild really needs to go with the rest of them. How do you have 23 posts? I'm confused There's J.R. and JR. That's going to get confusing. J.R. loves American cars, hates Hillary Clinton, wants to deprot all illegal alienes, loves fireworks, and detests liberals. JR, I have no idea. JR only posts 1 time a month. So you won't have to worry about "confusing" them, too often. . .
  21. Please don't post about has-beens and non important things like the GBL here. Thanks. .
  22. Please, if your going to post a topic about something really cool (by the way I heard about this, just not the date). . Post a link, or atleast the date, time, teams, and inning it happened so we can actually see it to discuss it.
  23. A radio interview is not the place to have a tecnincal discussion about the art of hitting. It's the place to sound stupid and nervous I guess, then. :? We are going to have to disagree on this one. I didnt think for a radio interview he did that bad. He knows he is getting canned and he is being professional about it. Then we agree. He is saying everything he can to sound positive so it will help him to find another job. But the things he said ticked me off as a Cubs fan.
