Is that him behind Rizzo? I figured that was one of the random bullpen bodies floating around these days. pretty sure you're talking about hammel arrieta is behind starlin/next to motte Carrie Muskat would be proud of the two of you. The one behind Rizzo (to his right, our left) is Teagarden. Hammel is the tallest guy all the way on the right, behind Wood. White baseball players are the most boring, interchangeable people on Earth.

fowler is cool as [expletive] you stupid [expletive] dude comes out to chedda the connect and is a super nice guy with swag for days. he's also on pace for only slightly less war than derosa was that year, but we're not talking about that. if unremarkable derosa gets points for being cool, then so does fowler. Fowler isn't going to sniff DeRo's Cubs WAR in any way at all when this year is done. I'll bet you a pile of delicious RAM chips. dero was a 2.5 war player in 2007 I know. Fowler's only going to get near it if the last couple of weeks are how he plays most of the rest of the way out as opposed to how he looked for most of May, all of June and the first half of July.

I take everything too seriously. You've seen my post history, right? Seriously though this forum can ostracize new posters sometimes. I try to defend them because I've seen a lot of people come and go on here (myself included), and it's just kind of sad to me. I know I'm illogical and emotional and too serious -- but I also want people to have fun here, and not be scared to hit the Submit button all the time. Most of the new posters have been gibberish monsters. You're only defending them because deep down you know you're one of them.

To be somewhat fair, he's been much better the last couple of weeks. I still have no interest in the Cubs bringing him back unless it's for dirt cheap and in a platoon.

DeRo was pretending to surf like a cool dude, Zambrano looked like he was eating an imaginary sandwich and Uncle Cliffy looked as happy as can be. Plus Matt Sinatro gets honorable mention just for his, "ahhhh, you crazy bunch o' kids"-look in the background. dero was cool. i loved him. fairly unremarkable tho. especially that year. fowler is cool too. Fowler is a fart in the wind and will be forgotten after he is cast aside once the season concludes. The other Aramis photo I had as my background photo was great, too: Can't find the bigger version anymore. Booooo.
