i think it's a quality, and the quality of being good in interviews isn't such a specific talent that's only good for interviews. i love when you bury your head in the sand, especially when you're implying that the bears would be risking it all by giving him a shot. Basically, you think 1. Griffin's ability to speak is only good for interviews. 2. Developing him would make the bears terrible, even though they're unwatchable now. 3. Developing a leader is going to require some kind of lengthy and intensive program of tough love and sleepless nights holding his hair as he pukes in the halas hall toilet when he's allowed to run, he's an exciting player, meathheads can get behind that. when things have one bad for him, they've gone very bad, but that can change. No, I think trying to develop him as anything besides a backup would be a waste of time and money. I have absolutely no interest as to when and where and how he's a good speaker. He physically cannot play the position; it's not a matter of "allowing" him to run. He can't run like he did when he showed up, and he's shown that without that ability he's an unremarkable passing QB at BEST.
