They all are. Baseball isn't football. The likelihood of taking a major hit to the head again isn't very good. MLB hasn't been pro-active with concussion protocols just for fun; you're understating how likely it is for a baseball player to get one. -

Why wait? Sign someone this offseason. They'll have the money. So will like 20 others teams. Have to sell coveted FAs that Chicago is the best situation for them. Not saying it's not a good destination just that there will be a lot of competition for any FA they desire. Of course; I was replying to how the original post made it sound like they wouldn't have any money until after next year.

Why would Hawk only want to do road games? He really wants to get out of the house? He lives in South Bend and apparently hates commuting back and forth between there and Chicago. I know there's an airport in South Bend, but it only goes to, like, 10 other airports in the US. Go [expletive] figure.

Because likely there's nobody who would pay for the stadium. Publicly funded stadiums have been exposed as the money pits/scams they are, and Illinois and Chicago are way too damn broke to even dream of such a thing.
