To piggyback on that, we're facing a lefty, he shouldn't play whether the wrist hurts or not. He has a near 1.000 OPS vs Niese in 31 PAs, so he should be playing against him if healthy. Also he's so good defensively he shouldn't be sitting, "because lefties." Sure if they want to give him an off day it would be preferable that it's a game against a LHP, but he should rarely be sitting if he's healthy. Yeah, it would be one thing if they were struggling for offense and had to desperately micro-manage the bats, but it would be nonsense to do that at this point. If he's healthy he's still plenty valuable even if he's not hitting.
