This is easily the most uneasy I've been going into a game this season; they just looked SO bad last night. Game 2 you can chalk up to a combination of a whole lotta Kershaw getting his horsefeathers together and a little bit of bad luck, but last night just seem to really drive home just how poorly so much of the lineup is doing, even by the small sample size standards of the playoffs. Hill seemed like a jumpy, jittery wreck for the first 3 innings or so last night and his pitching reflected that, and they couldn't do anything with it. It still blows my mind a little that after how bad Hill looked in the 2nd inning the Cubs still got shut out and barely even got anyone on base after that. As much as this bugs us, this has to weigh infinitely more on the players' minds, and I can't help but worry they're just going to keep pressing and not-hit themselves out of a still very winnable series.
