  1. Back to back to back to back (between 2 different games): http://www.bleachernation.com/2017/03/25/cubs-homer-explosion-bryant-heyward-happ-young-all-go-deep-in-rapid-succession-videos/
  2. I just assumed the "absolutely fantastic" part was someone screaming at Dee Gordon to eat a steak sandwich.
  3. He did only pitch 11 innings in the series, but he was pretty damn good. I think if he came on in relief in game 7 and shut the Indians down to win the WS, he probably would have. For all of the people complaining about the bullpen choices in Game 7, not seeing Jake is the one that actually bugged me. The Indians didn't seem to have an answer for him, and I really just wanted to save Chapman for the 9th; it seemed perfectly set up to bring him in. Maybe he wasn't feeling it or didn't look right when warming up (if he warmed up at all), but yeah, even before things went wrong I was wondering aloud why Jake wasn't ready or coming in.
  4. Outside of #1, that list makes not a lick of [expletive] sense.

  6. This was kind of how I was looking at it. Didn't really think it was a big deal. There's nothing more blue collar (NOT ACTUALLY A THING WITH MILLIONAIRES) than the nickname "Joey Bats."
  7. 1984 was definitely an awaking but it was still easy and cheap to get seats for any game at wrigley until the late 90's sidenote it was also possible to get into yankee stadium for $8 in the mid-90s. Yeah, Sammy basically made it the ticket it became; right up until then I remember going to games most summers where the plan was always "just show up and buy tickets that day because there was, of course, going to be a horsefeathers ton of them not sold."
  8. Bwaaaaahahahahahahah! This terrible mopes ended up blowing a 16-point lead and finally lost to the Raptors.
  9. I'm cool with this kind of scenario:
  10. Upgraaaaaaaaaaaaaade.
  11. These games just keep justifying the WBC over and over again. So horsefeathering good.

  13. http://deadspin.com/i-can-tell-you-with-extreme-confidence-that-he-was-not-1793490383 Definitely not joking: [tweet] [/tweet]
  14. Pujols was, indeed, mega-boring. Bryant looks like he's going to be pretty boring, too.
  15. Mike Trout might be the most boring amazing baseball player ever.
  16. I like how you can see him choose to engage into Evade-Mode like he's a [expletive] sliding robot.
  17. Colby Bortles is somehow an even worse white guy name than Blake Bortles. Wow.
  18. Oh, come on.
  19. "I would've said '[expletive]!'"
  20. Also: Ross turned 40 yesterday! He probably spent it punching 40 orphans in the face.

  22. Went over to my parents' place so my dad could open up the ST package. Man, that box is beautiful.
  23. I'ma use a sneaky fake name nobody will ever guess.
