  1. Heyward after people are hopeful after one of his rare dongs:
  2. I'm so horsefeathering far behind; MLB TV is brutal tonight.
  3. May this be the only thing the Duke’ster horsefeathers up for the next few weeks Hell no; it's that good that it counts. Don't let tree ruin things because he barfed up his nachos.

  5. Nice low interest at Guaranteed Rate!
  6. He's In The Middle of that photograph.
  7. The Cubs have to win tonight, because a Coen Bros.-themed gif onslaught is too awesome to be over that quickly.
  8. HOLY horsefeathering horsefeathers ON A GIGANTIC horsefeathering horsefeathers MOUNTAIN OF SHITTY horsefeathering.
  9. Right, again, I don't want it to come across like I'm saying they're doomed; as I pointed out, they've been a really kick ass team DESPITE struggling in those specific situations. It's less, "oh, the Cubs suck because they suck at this," and more, "the Super Cubs could be the Super AMAZING Cubs if they even got just a little bit better at this, as we saw in 2016." Like you said, hopefully this is something Davis can coax out as the season goes on. They kinda have to, since the fans of the VB have repeatedly reminded us that this is the Cubs' farm system right now:
  10. OK, I'm seeking some kind of middle ground with this...The Cubs' numbers in these situations have been rank last year and, I think, in 2015, too. 2016 was better, but, I believe, not too far off (if at all) of middle of the pack. Obviously this shows that it's not some crippling problem that's going to prevent the team from being good or even winning the WS...but is it too crazy to want/hope/expect a team this good to be at least somewhat better at would should be more often (but obviously not all the time) essentially a gimme situation for a team this good? Like, I'm not saying the improvement in 2016 was THE reason they were that great that year, but it sure as horsefeathers helped, right? I'm not expecting them to get in every runner they get to 2B or 3B with 1 or 0 outs, but why have they been seemingly SO bad at it for such long stretches? I'd be overjoyed with just league average at this point.
  11. Duke, the evil eye has settled on you.
  12. I beg to differ.
  13. MORE LIKE IAN CRAPP.
  14. If Happ dongs here the Cubs are winning this game.
