the crazy thing is rizzo also drastically improved in these areas and became another votto like 4 years ago. like we already had one guy decide to become joey votto while in the big leagues and now we have two Well....nu-Votto and Votto-ish. -

Baez was fed up with the Cubs' dong-slacking, so he decided to fix it himself.

It was earlyish last year and I remember them not handling it great. Like he wasn’t DL’d try to play through and just given off days here and there and just kept running out there with it until it was too late in the year to DL him and get home back. He couldn’t even hit right handed at one point. Yeah, which was one of the main reasons I was glad they just cut to the chase and put Rizzo on the DL.
