For real, though; the sound system at Wrigley has had unbearably sound levels depending on where your sitting basically forever. The best seats we ever had for a couple of seasons were only marred by the deafening volume of the music/announcing.

They're supposed to be, but basically as soon as I moved away from Chicago I immediately reverted back reading everything as also being in my same, normal timezone. -
Isn't this normal for an eastern time zone game? I still manage to forget almost every day that we've got clods here who put up game threads without "CST" in the damn title. For shame, JERSEY cubs fan; after yesterday's bizarre start time, I thought tonight was 6:10 PM EST again.

The obvious, glaring flaw in that (I mean, there's a LOT of them) is that it hinges on the idea that Montero was ONLY traded because of that one incident. -
I think the dude got screwed over playing in such a crazy offensive era; he ended up being overlooked and thought of as a utility-type player. And bouncing around as much he did probably helped foster that, too. That said, I was surprised his total WAR was so high. I was thinking 50+ instead of 60+.

I remember people complaining along those lines, like, "oh, now he stands too far off of the plate," whether that was true or not. I ended up just figuring the guy probably had a bad enough concussion and had to deal with the symptoms at least for the rest of the season (though didn't he get super hot again for a few weeks later that season, too?).
