    I don't understand that theory at all. It makes sense with someone like Prior, who had been able to avoid major surgery, but Wood's already been under the knife. I highly doubt he or anyone else are focusing on his surgeries as being the reason he's still getting injured. The problems were there and very clear before he had any surgery.

    Why?!? Yes, he came up big in the last game...but those 2 hits were only his 2nd and 3rd hits of the season! Let them man pinch hit!

    More Wuertz. I'm honestly surprised at how well Cotts is doing...hopefully he can keep it up. Howry seems to be coming back from his iffy first month. Cherry hasn't looked so hot...Ohman is a looming threat and Eyre seems to be having issues, though it was nice to see him bounce back this last game. I think Dempster looks a LOT better than he did last year. We still get some drama now and then, but I think he's gonna have another awesome year as the closer.

    My issue was more with the constant bullpen shuffling. Why does Wuertz get yanked after one batter because he walked him but Eyre stays in after his first batter gets a double?

    I care, that's why I asked. Your opinion on Wood and Prior has been documented, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over again. Give it a rest. You don't care about them, to the point of coming off as hating them. We get it. Did you really need to come into this thread to post that riveting, thoughtful, and tremendously helpful reply? I'm not going to give it a rest so get used to it. Thanks. That's productive.

    As much as I think defense gets overrated in terms of importance with this team, that's just begging for diaster with those two taking care of the middle IF.

    Soriano is going to be like that. Even with his increased walks last year, he's still a hacking machine. Aramis doesn't belong in your thread title due to a single at-bat. In general, he's looked very good. Barrett, yes, has looked like crap.
