GUYS, DID YOU KNOW HOW GREAT EDMONDS IS?!? HE SACRIFICES HIS BODY ALL THE TIME IN THE OUTFIELD!!! GEE WHILLICKERS!
  2. Sammy Sofa
Agreed. He got the outs, but he didn't look good at all. If he can't settle in, the Cards can just stop swinging and walk until he gets pissed and dumps it over the plate.

    GREAT GRAB, JONES!
  4. Sammy Sofa
Aramis looked like he was trying to gain some speed through flight with all that arm-flapping.

Tie goes to the runner. Suck it up.
  6. Sammy Sofa
To be fair, he's one of the few players that deserves it.

SON OF A DONKEY. Three straight hits and nary a run.
  8. Sammy Sofa
You can't teach hustle. Then they need to inject them with a little grit.
  9. Sammy Sofa
No kidding. There's no excuse for Soriano not being on 3rd with that hit.
  10. Sammy Sofa
    So close, Soriano!

    Gads...no Pie or Murton. Stank.

Of course, being the Cubs, they'll likely finally get tired of all those "repair projects" and decide Prior is the one where they'll take a stand and say, "NO MORE!" Figures.
  13. Sammy Sofa
That's simply not the case if he's used correctly. I don't understand why people seem so unwilling to believe this.

gross. Pie means foot in spanish. You like toe jam? All I'm hearing is pigh. Sweet, sweeeeeeeeeet 3.14etc..
  15. Sammy Sofa
The only thing I dislike about Pie is how his delicious name always makes me crave some delicious baked goods every time I see it, and I can't eat said baked goods due to my diet. DAMN YOU, PIE!!!

I get pissed when Ohman screws up, but I have no sympathy for a manager who doesn't understand how to use his bullpen. Ohman is a very good LOOGY. Use him as that and only that. Anything else and you're asking for trouble.

Jason Marquis disagrees, Z is number 4 right now :D That argument can definitely be made. My desire to trade Z aside, I doubt that will last. He will not, however, out-pitch Hill year, and I could see him and Lilly being a wash comparison-wise.

Hill is, in my opinion, the obvious ace of this team now. Hell, Lilly is outpitching Z by a wide margin. I know the schedule ends becoming somewhat superfluous when it comes to what number each guy is, but hell, Z is the #3 pitcher right now.

    STUPID GRIT!!!
  20. Sammy Sofa
    God bless you, Cesar.
  21. Sammy Sofa
Murton also had a walk tonight, yes?
  22. Sammy Sofa
THAT INNING IS OVAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! JUST LIKE I SAID!!!
  23. Sammy Sofa
YES! Did Len have to stop himself from saying "Wilson is pissed?"
  24. Sammy Sofa
Folks, I'm in the future. Wanna know how this ends?
  25. Sammy Sofa
This game is about to be OVA.
