OK, I think what I like most about Len & Bob is that they actually seem to go out of their way to have at least somewhat interesting Cubs-related stuff to talk about...case in point, Bob just talking about the pre-game process with Aramis' glove. Granted, it's not earth-shattering, but it's something. So many other announcers ramble on about crap that has zero to do with the game or barely talk at all. Of course, Len & Bob have their own non-game asides, but everything just keeps flowing.

4 game hitting streak Len said. Longest since Z's 5 gamer. Len was saying earlier that he's spent a ton of time practicing his at-bats. Laying down bunts, working some counts, getting a few hits...he's doing what you need a pitcher to do and a little extra.

I'm with you. My threshold for idiocy reached it's maximum. We take it for granted, but we are extremely lucky to have Len and Bob. They are top notch compared to a lot of these idiots nowadays. Indeed. When I finally got EI for the first time last year I realized just how good we have it. Len, I know you come by the board every so often...you and Bob rule!

I think they were trying to steal 2nd and got it and then Mench bolted when they threw to the SS but he got tossed out at the plate.

I really have fun listening to Bob & Len. If it's the playoffs, I'll watch the HD, but otherwise I'm staying as far away from ESPN as possible.
