    You haven't been around this team long, have you? Since 2002. Most of the current Cubs haven't been around that long either. The only point I had is that it's very annoying to see someone make sure everyone knows how optimistic they are during every single game no matter what's happening. You can say bad things about the Cubs, they won't hate you. I'm optimistic but not as much as you think. Kinda funny how this whole issue started with me simply saying...lol you guys are funny. Because it's a running posting theme with you and it can't help but often come across as being very mocking of people here.

    Obviously, but please don't act like our negative responses when this team does poorly is somehow unusual or misdirected given how this organization has stumbled time and time again.

    Do you post here only to laugh at people that aren't blindly optimistic? More like post here to laugh at the obnoxious pessimists. How old are you? We aren't pessimists, more like realists. Optimists are obnoxious. Meanwhile, Marquis needs to hit the showers and the waiver wire fast. What does age have to do with anything? And realists? Are you kidding me? How many times has the season been over already? How many times have we seen the Cubs tank their playoff chances? How many times have we seen the Cubs tank even if they manage to make the playoffs? Losses=Tanks got it. I swear, rooting for this team feels like being run over by one sometimes.

    no he did no start it, but he did finish it How? Myers started it and then tried to finish it by attmepting to physically attack the guy. All the reporter did was take one shot after having a string of verbal attacks hurled at him by the goon that he DARED to ask questions to in regards to the game. Yeah, what an out of control "attack dog" of a journalist.

    OK, it's not like the reporter started this. He was asking questions about the game and Meyers responded by attacking the reporter's living and then called him [expletive].

    However, I think having Prior back (in 2003 form) by July of next year is a more realistic expectation. I thinks an unrealistic expectation is to have Mark Prior back in 2003 form at any point ever again. I'd happily take him back in his non-injured 2004 or 2005 forms. Hell, even just sniffing what he did those years is better than Marquis or Marshall.
