  1. Thursday against the Athletics. He started Saturday in the split squad game, and didn't play in either of Friday or Sunday's games. Thanks. Wish he was playing today. Fuld-Hill-Theriot is brutal.
  2. When was the last time Cedeno got a non-split squad start?
  3. Lordy, that curve is sexy. A strikeout is even sexier.
  4. Best catch in spring training so far...up a hill, too.
  5. Pretty cool to see a guy playing just weeks after having a medical procedure done involving his freakin' heart.
  6. Pie's testicular tortion "flared up," so he was scratched today to have the out-patient procedure to fix it earlier than scheduled...out 3-5 days, at least. Ouch.
  7. Wow, is anyone else watching Comcast? What the hell is up with the picture?
  8. High end of the middle of the pack. If we were letter grading them, personaly, I'd put them in the C+ to solid B range depending on how a few things pan out.
  9. I'M SO ANGRY ABOUT THOSE DAMNED USELESS HOME RUNS. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Yea, it almost made the cut. Jacque's HR beat it out. Also, I don't know if anyone noticed, but that picture of Aramis from the Cubs ringtones ad is the same thing as my sig. Awesome video, but how the hell did you decide Jacque's HR beat out the Parrot? Sure, Jones crushed it into the wind, but the Floyd homer has the Parrot, a ball in the river and a crazy come from behind win split over two days. Floyd FTW, easily. It's all in the timing. The Floyd HR took place in a game very early in the year while Jacque was heating up and it was a huge series with St. Louis at the most important time of the season. Jacque FTW, but not easily. ;) Meh. I find it completely forgettable, much like Jacque's entire time here. Floyd rocking the Parrot? Never.
  11. You don't get life. Does that work?

  13. 3 awesome innings, one hideous inning that was narrowly not a disaster.
  14. I think chances are good Marmol is again the best reliever. He's the youngest and most talented of the group. At worst, I think he'll be a close 2nd to Howry, unless Wood completely dominates while staying healthy all year. Think about how many middle relievers, even closers consistantly put up numbers like Marmol did last year. Marmol doesn't have to duplicate those numbers to still be one of the best relievers around.
  15. IT WAS A SPLIT SQUAD GAME.
  16. I see that the A's came back in their final at bat and won the game. I see that Sweet Swinging Billy started a thread complaining about a blown save. That's ridiculous, they need to ship him out now! I know it's only Spring Training but there's no excuse for such threads. A good posting attitude starts now. I hope Modzilla explodes.
  17. Too bad. That's ultimately gonna end up wasting him.
  18. I'm just saying Ryan Theriot sucks at being interviewed almost as badly as he sucks at baseball.
  19. wow. Perhaps Fuk is a bad-ass at Karate. Perhaps Ryan Theriot is an idiot.
  20. Wuertz apparently spends the winters writing with a feather quill pen. And doing nothing else.
