Yep, Lou's answer to the problems the offense is having was to move Zambrano to the bullpen. I thought for sure he would hit and run on the 3-2 pitch to Aramis. I know Ramirez has been striking out a lot, but I thought Lou would try to make something happen. Might not have made a difference, but not trying something is not helping. Not that I want Tracy playing, but I wonder if Lee or Ramirez will get a day off tomorrow. Lee definitely needs one off before Aramis. Just start Nady and move him down in the lineup. Hahahahahaaah! Once that batting average returns to normal he will be the same piece of garbage he's always been. Yeah, more 2 for 3 days like this will really hobble him. I know what you are saying, but like I said our 2nd base platoon has an OPS around 680, thats terrible. Fontenot has shown zero power this year, and almost zero patience. We really need to upgrade that position. Oh, 2nd base has indeed been generally terrible. I just find it amusing when people flip out on players when they actually have a decent day at the plate.

Typical Byrd at bats. Most of his big hits this year have come with him in either bad counts or just hacking away. He's never going to be a very patient or "pretty" hitter.
