  1. Bosh is likely a better case scenario than Wade.
  2. no He's actually been worse. If not for a wind-aided double, his OPS would probably be below .400. He's still not Miles. Miles was starting way too often. Tracy is pinch hitting way too often. Outside of a nice defensive play in MIL, the guy has done NOTHING this year. Who cares? Chad Tracy is like #56 on the list of things wrong with this team.

  4. What an amazing collection of useless cunts.
  5. I fear for The Ted Lilly Fan Club. I hope they're OK.
  6. Lilly [expletive] sucks today. Just leave him in there since this one is toast.
  7. You're probably OK doing it if you're in town from Arizona.
  8. Feeble. 3rd World. Mind.
  9. So is it typical of the Diamondbacks to do the same? But they are an NL west team that only comes to town once a year, so they don't really know how Wrigley plays. Well, the Cubs don't know how Wrigley plays, so the Diamondbacks not taking advantage of the conditions would be typically Cub-like.
  10. So is it typical of the Diamondbacks to do the same?
  11. It's their feeble 3rd World minds. I mean, who names their kid "Poo-holes??!?!"
  12. Soto hitting 8th again today.
  13. Yeah, teams with money will make room for Fielder/AGon/Pujols if they go onto the FA market, especially if they have the DH option. You really think a team that has at least an extra $20-$20 million a year to spend is going to look at Pujols and say "ooooh, yeah, sorry, we've already got 1st base locked up....maybe next time!"
  14. Why? These two guys are seasoned professionals and aren't head cases. It's not like "the pressure" of batting 3rd and 4th is getting to them or anything like that. I don't think it would make any difference to their current slump if they bat in the 4 hole or bat 7th. It matters because they're going to get more AB's if they stay at 3-4. They're horrible right now and the team is better served putting people currently having much more success into those slots until they stop being horrible. It's less a matter of "fixing them" so much as it is getting hitters who can actually hit into two critical spots in the lineup.
  15. Lee and Aramis are not typically streaky players. Certainly nowhere to the degree that Soriano is, or even Theriot.
  16. Why not just move Gorzelanny to the bullpen?
  17. Bob Brenly is terrible at managing a baseball team. It's a little terrifying how many Cubs fans would love to have him manage their team despite listening to his ideas in the booth.
  18. This shouldn't be such a huge issue, but unfortunately the Cubs have a horrible manager which just makes it an even worse problem. Between Soto, Soriano and Byrd the Cubs can stand to move Lee and Aramis down in the lineup temporarily and give them some extra days off while Lee and Aramis get their [expletive] together. It's hardly like we're talking about anything complicated here. Theriot-Fukudome-Soto-Byrd-Soriano is a perfectly acceptable 1-5 for a week or so. God forbid Lou do anything this simple.
