There are so many bullpens loaded with more than 3 very good relievers. I cry every night over our horrible situation. Man, that home run is especially unfortunate now since Grabow looked amazing the other three AB. Hell, outside of that HR he's been really, really good in his 3 appearances so far this season.

Yeah, offensively they've looked pretty damn good (going in to today). 3rd in the NL in BA, OBP, OPS and 2nd in slugging. 2nd in doubles and 6th in RBI.

It would be nice if our bats got going a bit. It's not like we are facing the Phillies and Giants pitching staffs. We should be punishing people named Saunders and Gallaraga. Just FYI, going in to today the Cubs had the most hits in the NL (tied for the 3rd most runs).

Nothing? They're being very patient, putting up a number of deep counts, have scored 2 runs on only 3 hits and have had 3 hits robbed singlehandedly by Chris Young.

Hahahahahahahahaha I really like having Dempster on the team, but man, if he's actually your ace then you're in trouble. I'd still count Z as the Cubs best starter, but I don't know if they have an "ace." ARAMIS! Alot of people throw the term "ace" around a bit too freely, often using it to mean the teams #1 starter. Many teams are devoid of an ace. Others such as the Giants and Phillies have more than 1.

I thought so too at first. Looked like he caught the ball in the basket and then lost his balance and put his glove beyond the basket while trying to recover. It'd be pretty damn hard to reach over the basket. He was clearly reaching down into it. Yeah, good luck reaching over the basket without toppling into it.

For those not watching, Chris Young just caught a Colvin fly ball off of the wall in LF/CF after having two great diving catches in row in the 1st that robbed Fukudome and Castro of hits.
