    That Darvish wasn't actually getting better? Agreed. Given the circumstances he came through today, he went in to the game knowing he was going 6-7+ and 100+ pitches in horsefeathers conditions. He gave us a chance and we won. That's a tad generous. The offense saved his butt.

I say go nuts and move him to the bullpen so he can be the new Morrow as the closer who can't close on consecutive days. At least then he can just cut lose with that fastball velocity when he does pitch for an inning.
