    1. Hilarious that YOU are calling wolf an "idiot." 2. We're talking about how people wouldn't be flipping out as much if he went through the expected struggles of returning from his injury last year like it would have been much, much smarter to do. It regards to the injury itself he said it "probably" wouldn't be an issue now barring a separate injury.

    I'm not sure what Theo meant about August and September. A tailspin is what happens when you have a very limited supply of ML talent and then trade them in July, I guess the late season tailspin days might be over because he's talking about trading Shark, Castro, Nate, etc now instead of July which would mean a season long tailspin at the ML level. http://i.imgur.com/N1lx7db.png

    I managed to keep enough of my group in; we're going to downgrade to cheaper seats in the hope things get better soon and just donate most of the tickets in 2014 to charity (LOL SORRY CHARITY) so we don't take as much of a bath.

    Depressing radio caller memes: -Cutler is selfish and ego-driven and yesterday proved that. -He was only playing because it's a contract year, otherwise he would have sat on his butt like in the NFC championship. -He was only playing because he's feeling the pressure from McCown's success. -McCown gives the Bears more chances to win and is the QB of the future. Yeesh.

    And they won't. The choice is very clear: pay Jay, or accept mediocre QB play next year (possibly for longer after that, too). Yeah, they're really backed into a corner with this and I have no idea how anyone could think letting him go is an option.

    While I agree with your overall point, football does not work this way. Well they can't just redo the whole thing every year and that's what they've been doing. No, the whole "spending several years working towards" something; that's not realistic. And what have they been redoing every year besides the parade of OC's? Granted, that's a significant part, but you're talking like they've had a huge regular team turnover. They brought in Trestman, but that was a necessary singular move.
