    I don't know about that. I think it's mostly Theo's strategy and the owners are going along with it. Why would any FO willfully cut themselves off like that? That makes absolutely no sense.

    the seahawks have had 5, broncos 4. what about the seahawks compared to every other team that isn't the broncos? Plus the Broncos don't have Pete Carroll. And they're really good, yet everyone doesn't hate their coach.

    Handwringing over whether or not he's still a "humble hometown kid" is just primo meatballery, but the other main point about how it's pretty ridiculous that Rose (and/or his people) are griping about what the Bulls need to do now that he's had a catastrophic injury yet again is right on.

    Yeah, what he said; head injuries freak me out, and a headache lasting more than a day after you've hit your head is something to definitely get checked out ASAP. I think it was a combination of the banging my head a bit and coming down with something. I feel fine today, though. Eh, I'm paranoid enough about that stuff that I'd check it out, especially with the way you described it.

    Yeah, I was listening to it AT THE GYM and he was basically saying that Romo and Cutler receive all the [expletive] that should be going Eli's way, but isn't because of the super bowl rings his defense bought him. Do you have a giant blow up of his new book cover in front of you for motivation?

    The national Romo story seems to be along the lines of, "oh, that Romo!" With Cutler there's just this weird vitriol that seems based out of his personality/body language.

    I love him because he's extremely talented, and while I'll admit he's not the greatest QB ever and has his issues, at his best he's among the best QBs in the league, a tough SOB and makes throws that I used to have wet dreams about in grade school. But I think really won me over was his personality (which admittedly has little to do with whether he should be the QB). Part because the media has decided that Jay Cutler is an aloof jackass who doesn't care about anything, and hey that's our dude, stfu. Also because his appearances on the Jay Cutler radio show prove that he's actually a pretty cool dude. i've said this before about him, he is the Neo to Aaron Rodgers' Agent Smith. Rodgers is just about the best QB to play the game, but he is bound by the rules of the matrix whereas Jay Cutler can write the code when it all comes together for him. That's so stupid I could have said it. Rodgers has owned Cutler. Why do you hate fun?

    He should be beloved for all of those things here, especially for the first two.

    Cade McNown is not a better option than Jay Cutler, no matter how many meatballs say differently. OK, like I said, I get that. Going forward, how is Jay definitely your guy though? He's better in the red zone and he's more likely to give you the big play and he's more likely to bring you back if you're down.
