He's not going to. He's been very honest and blunt to the media about his poor performance all season (he actually sounds like a really good guy, FYI). This was tonight: Well, that's good to see. If in the same position, I would probably have a defeatist attitude. It's got to be tough on him to be going through this; it's not like he wants to suck. Man, looking at the guy's reactions in his start and he knows how bad he's been. Every time I start getting mad at him they show a shot of him looking like Charlie Brown up there. I keep expecting the next one to just show him laying dazed on the mound with all of his clothes exploded off of him.
He was facing Dickey, so maybe he felt that was the best stance to go with the see the knuckleball the best? Ahh, suppose that makes sense. That's all kinds of awesome.
I think it would bother me more if we were talking about a singular uniform design that had been around forever, but these things have been tweaked and changed so much that none of them really feels like THE uniform that I would want to stay...whatever, "pure" or something.
This post is just a complete do-over, the facts, the sentiments, all of it What, people repeat themselves here a bazillion times over and over again? Get outta here, I don't believe it, you craz-ay, I think I wanna have yo' bay-bay.
Didn't we, reportedly, offer more money than the Dodgers for Puig? I don't remember hearing that at all. Are you're not thinking of the Cespedes signing drama?
I lament both, but I lament Cespedes more because the Cubs were actually close to signing him. With Puig the rumors were the FO were scared off by his "attitude" and whatnot so I don't think they were ever really in it. Now I just yearn for Soler to be freed to the blessed land of real baseball.
I guess it would kinda bug me if they were covered with them, but I wouldn't mind something like each team was allowed to strike a deal with an advertiser and end up having a patch or logo on each sleeve.
