  1. ESPN360 won't work on Mac's. Mac's are the only computers in this classroom. I have now gone from disliking Mac's severely to everlastingly hating them.
  2. Bracketology is wrong. No way ND is below a 5 if they win today against Cuse IMO. Their RPI is 33, but just about every other ratings system known to man has them in the top 20. Lunardi is very good. A 33 RPI hasn't been enough to get teams off the bubble in the past, and their 117th SOS doesn't help matters either. Yes, but the case you're referring to is when a mid-major bubble team has a 33 RPI, not when it's the 4th-place team in a conference that had 10 good teams this year. ND also has a 5-6 away-from-home record which is about average for a tournament team, and boasts a 7-3 record against RPI top 100 teams.

Well, since they will lose to the Cuse, they'll end up as a 6 or 7. We beat Cuse by 12 on the road with Carter hobbled and Kurz out with an injury. I wouldn't say there's no way ND loses, but I like their chances.

  5. From AZ Phil who's at the games. :D
  6. Or JaMarcus if the Raiders are smart (unlikely) and take Calvin or trade down. I'm under the assumption that Oakland will be dumb until further notice.
  7. Never seen a run like that before...
  8. Damn it Browns. The one place I didn't want BQ to end up at is Cleveland, but that signing sure opens the door for it.
  9. This is the first time the Bulls have been dominated to this degree all season long. There's no way this is foreshadowing.
  10. Dunno if anyone else has tried it, but the ESPN360 thing they're doing for Championship Week is really cool. The broadcast is probably 10-15 seconds behind real time, but that's a small price to pay for no stupid buffering. I'm watching the NEC title game on the computer while WVU-Providence is on my TV. (It's also how I'll be watching ND-Cuse tomorrow.)
  11. Bulls down 30-18 after 1 to the Wade-less Heat. They trailed by as much as 28-9. :x
  12. ESPN.com's Michael Smith says the Falcons will sign Joe Horn.
  13. Bring it on CuseCubFan! :D
  14. DeRosa is drawing a LOT of walks this spring it seems like.
  15. Bocachica is the last name. But I like Yorombo Yachika better :D
  16. Ball State loses 51-48 even though EMU practically handed us the game in the final seconds. 9-22 finish, the worst in 86 years of Ball State basketball. Boy, I love this school.
  17. Ball State is playing its usual up-and-down game and trails Eastern Michigan 32-25 in the first round of the MAC tournament.
  18. I know he caught the INT Delhomme threw to lose Carolina the game against Cincy and derail the season. I also know he played in the XFL. That's about it.
  19. Just another reason the Big East tourney rules all. And I'd like it even more if Notre Dame could ever win a game in the tourney.
  20. No, not cool - Willis is my 2nd choice for Carolina to draft behind Quinn. Wouldn't surprise me to see the Panthers trade up a couple of slots if they want Willis and think STL will get him.
  21. If not for the fact that we already knew by that time that something was up with him, that pick would have made a lot of sense. After all, Prior's 03 had been ridiculous.
  22. http://www.cincypost.com/2004/12/21/12-21-2004_3045901.jpg that's not a head shot, that's a Holy Icon. a virgin must die on this night. TruffleShuffle? i was thinking more along the lines of a certain ball state student. /hides VanceJergins is right over there! GET HIM!
  23. And with a little more interest on the game at 2 I'll bet! I don't like ND's draw. If we face you guys, I'm worried because Syracuse always steps it up in the Big East tourney. If we face UConn, I'm worried because they're an unknown quantity and, while underachieving, still very talented. I think if the Irish can get one win they will probably get at least a 6-seed, and anything higher than that is gravy to me.
  24. Colin Falls and Russell Carter both made the all-Big East first team, and Tory Jackson and Luke Harangody both made the all-Big East freshman team. I'm excited for tomorrow. I'll be watching the first round of the Big East tourney most of the day.
