    That's a game the Cubs never win. It honestly has been pretty admirable to see this team play well without their best pure hitter in the lineup. I really wish he'd get back though.

    I don't know about anyone else here, but I never look at the totals or read the thread before voting.

    I've been. The skanky ho's with daddy issues pull that stuff, not most others. I'm at the beach every weekend in one of the most morally casual places in the country. That stuff doesn't just happen all the time. It only happens with skanks. I guess my friends are skanks then. there is nothing wrong with that though :) Yeah, I wouldn't mind a few skanky friends here and there myself

    Rocket is pretty much Treeman if Treeman loved Dunn and Mercker, but Treeman's funny, and so is Rocket, so I guess I'll vote for him.

    There would SEEM to be no possible way on this planet that the Cubs don't kill the M's in this one. I predict the Cubs win, but it takes a superhuman Marquis game to do it. 2-1 win.

    I have to admit that I was a bit (well maybe more than a bit) ignorant when I first joined the board. I remember having an discussion with a couple people about Kerry Wood where I argued that Wood wasn't that great because he never got 15 wins a season. I was like a child that wandered into the middle of a movie. But I have seen the error in my ways and now I would never dare make that argument. I actually went back and read some of my early posts. Boy were some of them stupid. I almost slapped myself for some of them. We've all been there, my friend. You've been assimilated. Yeah, I had some dumb posts in my early days here too. Had some dumb posts in my later days as well. :)

    I was at that game, too! IIRC, it was Wood's return from the DL, and he pitched pretty dang well. I was at this game as well. My only walkoff win that I've been to. The only extra-inning game I've witnessed was the one against SD in 04 where Froemming jobbed us on a DP call at 2nd base and Nomar hit a go-ahead homer in the 7th which sent the crowd into hysterics.

    I have seen one. Was at Rich Hill's first-ever win last year, where we scored 7 in the first 3 innings. It was so much more fun not having to constantly worry about whether the Cubs were going to win and be able to have some fun.
