He pitched against the Cubs for Cleveland. I believe he blew a save against the Cubs at Wrigley in 2009.
-
I refuse to believe anyone who didn't actually see it happen could remember that got to 3,000 strikeouts.
-
As long as they're able to resume soon I guess this is OK. -
Not ideal time for the rain to start falling like this
-
That was a pretty fun inning. Awesome work by both Young and Gomes to make the Yankees pay for the error
-
I'm terrible at stolen base guys.
-
Boy could the second half of this season have a different feel to it if Taillon can be OK.
-
Funnily enough, this is exactly what I did. They were the last 2 squares I filled today.
-
All Jed had to do was not sign Michael Fulmer and Jameson Taillon to be absolutely worthless and this team probably wins the division even though they suck.
-
Nothing good lasts.

Morel just launched a laser for a double (nearly a HR) and was grabbing his neck. Not leaving the game yet, but we really don't need our only significant power bat at the moment going down.
-
I got 7/9 today, missed TB/LA. I would have bet my life that played for Tampa Bay but apparently not. ETA: Apparently he didn't play for LA.
-
Tremendous victory. Odds are still against a real playoff run, but if one happens these two wins will be the fulcrum.
-
Would really feel great to finish this off. What a freaking job by Tauchman.
-
Since we need to feel better about things today
-
Yeah I used a different name for Cubs/O's today just because I didn't want to use Sammy yet again. I used him at least twice already, including that June 21 one.

My first immaculate grid today!
-
My guess would be that it has but there's no way a guy has made his MLB debut by doing it before.
-
Alright, that was pretty fun
-
Ump literally rang Swanson up on strike 2. I was laughing at Coomer lighting into Backes on the radio, but this guy has been fireably bad in this game.
-
Amaya strikes out after the ump spotted Andrews 2 strikes
-
I don't know if that was a dumb send but it was pretty darn risky, Happ didn't exactly have to throw a laser there
-
What are they looking at, if you can block the plate once you have the ball then there's nothing to this
-
Maybe Young makes better contact there if he lets the guy who clearly has no idea where the ball is going throw a horsefeathering strike before he swings
