    Y'know, I really want to watch more playoff baseball once we get swept but it's going to be really freaking hard. What a bunch of crap this whole series has been. Crappy umpiring crappy offense and crappy pitching

    boy aren't you glad you didn't get your hopes up over this team? what a pointless venture. I was just hoping for 1 win, guess I was asking for much. I can't believe people were thinking the Cubs would sweep just because the Diamondbacks aren't good. I knew the Cubs were in trouble precisely BECAUSE the Diamondbacks weren't good.

    I miss when ND got to start the annual MSU free fall. Maybe next year.

    Cause they have a big following, much like Notre Dame has with all of their games still on.I could post the ND coverage map again... Actually it's because I'm unfortunate enough to live in the Indy market. OU/Texas is on and I'm stuck with this.

    Why do I have to watch Crappy Big Ten Team 1 (Iowa this week) and Crappy Big Ten Team 2 (Penn State this week) at the 3:30 ABC slot every week?

    yep, hit the nail on the head... that is the last thing any of us wants to see...please don't let them do this to you cubs Yup, we've seen that all too often. The 1998 Braves and 2003 Marlins celebrated on our home turf, and I believe both the Cardinals and Astros clinched their playoff births on our field in 2005 Close. Houston clinched their berth against us in 05 but it was in Houston. All else is correct.

    It's true...up until last week I wouldn't have even taken ND +14 against Ball State the way BSU's playing.

    I did watch both games, though I admit I wasn't paying attention to the last few innings of Game 2.

    There was someone in one of my classes today talking about how stupid Cubs fans are for blaming Bartman (this is at least the 5th time I've heard this in the last week). I wasn't wearing Cubs stuff so he didn't know what I was, but I wanted to jack the dude in the face.

    While I agree with the Rockies, I doubt I'll be watching. Baseball will be dead to me when the Cubs are eliminated. Go stadium collapse. I love baseball too much to stop watching when the Cubs are done. Heck, I was as eternally pissed off after the 2004 collapse as I've ever been with this team, but I watched all the playoff games I could, and it was worth it.

    I never thought I'd be more pumped about Ball State football than any of my other sports teams, but such is the state of said other sports teams. If the Cardinals beat CMU tomorrow they're going to a bowl.

    Everything that has happened in this series is a reason why I was saying for weeks beforehand that I wanted to face any other potential playoff team besides Arizona. Webb/Davis, the ludicrous luck, the Stephen Drew God complex, our bizarre inability to do anything in Chase Field...ugh.
