They need to step it up in the MAC and not just lose those close games to tough teams. What grade is that QB of yours? Well, he's got 14 TDs and 2 interceptions this year, and one of those INTs was tipped, and he's thrown for about 1400 yards in 5 games. If we play like we have the last two weeks, we really should win out and go 10-2, including Illinois and Indiana. good luck with that one. i'm not saying illinois will win, but assuming illinois, who should be in the top 25 after today, is an automatic win is ridiculous. I didn't assume anything. I said that if Ball State plays like the team that's scored 89 points in two weeks and rolled up over 600 yards of offense on Nebraska, they should win. I don't see them playing that well again, but if that team showed up they'd win.

Ball State pounds the crap out of Buffalo 49-14 and rolls up over 450 yards of offense for the 4th week in a row. Would've been 56-14 but they took a knee inside the Buffalo 10 to end it. Man, it is fun to watch them. They were up 28-0 a few minutes into the 2nd quarter before letting off the gas a bit.

I wish Murton would start in RF in the playoffs, but I guess if Cliff Floyd continues having ABs like he's had I'm good. BTW, you won't be able to hear him but the Reds' PA announcer's voice is annoying as hell.

I'm not sure if that's normal, but the Reds always seem really bitter about all the Cubs fans there. And I couldn't see the out of town board from my seats, it was killing me. Me neither. What section were you in?

I'm a Cubs fan because of my best friend, who forced me to watch Cubs games on TV with him. My casual rooting interest in Atlanta because of my living in SC until I was 10 was quickly junked, even though the 1st season I really watched the Cubs was 2000 - hardly a noteworthy season. I'm a Cubs fan because it took me many years to realize it, but baseball's my favorite sport. I'm a Cubs fan because of Chip and Steve, and now, because of Len and Bob. I'm a Cubs fan because I want to live on the north side some day. I'm a Cubs fan because Wrigley Field is heaven. I'm a Cubs fan because it was destined to be so.

That will be mine if and only if we don't make the World Series. If we do and lose, I'm getting an NL champs shirt. If somehow we win that, I'm going broke.

Being in Cincy for the clincher and being a Cubs fan overwhelming that park is beyond amazing. I joined this board two years ago and ever since then I've been waiting for this exact thread. No sports fans in the world deserve this more than the great people at NSBB. 11 wins to go, my friends. Let's go and get them. -

How did I forget the best part? - Parading out of the GAB, singing "Go Cubs Go" with and high-fiving complete strangers because the soap dropping Cubs are going to the playoffs. - At least four cars in the parking lot alone as I was leaving had the song playing on their stereos. Top 10 day of my life.

Is it on the Cubs' broadcast or the Reds'? You can see it better on the Reds'. I just saw the Sportscenter highlight using CSN's broadcast and they didn't zoom in as far. I put my hands up because I was celebrating the homer, then the ball bounced into my row so I made a reach for it. You can see me if you're looking for the tall guy with blue sleeves. :D THE CUBS WON THE SOAP DROPPING NL CENTRAL DIVISION :)

I never want to forget: - The adorable 3-year-old Cubs fan who sat next to me with his mom. On the way out I told him to 'enjoy the playoffs. They don't come around very often for us.' - The crazy Mexican guy in the Carlos Zambrano 2006 ASG jersey who kept tossing peanuts to everybody. - The guy holding up the "It's Gonna Happen" sign. - The guy holding up the "Wrigley Field South" sign. - The guy holding up the "Do You Believe in Miracles" sign. - The drunk guys behind me who kept me posted on the Brewers game. - The stadium erupting when the 3-2 Padres lead popped up on the scoreboard (which I couldn't see in the OF terrace). - Wrestling for Derrek Lee's home run ball with the guy next to me for about 20 seconds before I determined that he was never going to give up and letting him have it. I'm in the video wearing that It's Gonna Happen shirt. - High fiving the drunk guy in front of me and talking about Mark Bellhorn when he pinch-hit. - Soriano nailing another runner at home plate. - This, right now. Me chugging Old Style and typing this post. WE WON THE SOAP DROPPING DIVISION AND I WAS THERE TO SEE IT. :D

I'm going to high-five some Cubs fans in Cincy if we win, then come back and drink with my roommate. I turn 21 right around the end of the World Series, so if we somehow won that, I'd probably die.

So yeah, I got tickets - paid about 30 bucks including all fees for seats in the outfield terrace (lower LF bleacher area). I'll be there. Hopefully the Brewers fall behind big early tonight.

Well, change of plans - my friend's grandfather is now in the hospital, so he may not come this weekend. I'll probably end up going to Cincy tonight. If anyone else will be there PM me for my cell number by about 3:00.
