  1. Insulting. Jenna Fischer is waayyy gorgeous.
  2. I met him sober, and I sorta figured he'd be hilarious drunk.
  3. Notre Dame will probably be ranked in the top 25 too since they have a win. Keener beat you to that version of the ludicriously lame, played-out, absolutely-no-merit-to-it-at-all ND joke, but I don't care because at least people are making fun of us for having a WIN.
  4. This game is immensely entertaining.
  5. Maurice Crum with 2 fumble recoveries, 2 picks and a TD. As Don Criqui said, "He's having a career tonight." :)
  6. Ladies and gentlemen, Notre Dame finally has a win!!!!! Thank you, random UCLA walk-on QB and Karl Dorrell. Course, the buzzsaw is back next week with (going to be) top-5 team Boston College, but I can enjoy this for now. :)
  7. My God, what the hell is going on out there? UCLA is playing a third string, walk-on redshirt freshman QB with backup RBs. Still no reason to be losing. Ack I just saw the update. Horrible turnover. Should know the only way ND gets a win will be when a team hands it to them. That won't be the only way ND will get a win. They are getting better every game, and should have a good shot to win each of their last 4 games legitimately. The next two weeks are going to be rough though. The way freshman keep stepping up for ND every week though, next year should be much better. They won't be great, but they should be above average next year the way players are developing. Doesn't matter, UCLA would be up by double digits if Cowan or Olson were playing. You're up because you're facing a third string walk-on who has fumbled a 40-yard TD and thrown a pick that was returned to the 5. I'm trying to figure out where in CCP's post he disputed that point, without any success.
  8. HOLY CRAP NOTRE DAME FUMBLE RETURN FOR TD 20-6 NOTRE DAME
  9. HOLY CRAP NOTRE DAME HAS A LEAD
  10. Y'know, I really want to watch more playoff baseball once we get swept but it's going to be really freaking hard. What a bunch of crap this whole series has been. Crappy umpiring crappy offense and crappy pitching
  11. boy aren't you glad you didn't get your hopes up over this team? what a pointless venture. I was just hoping for 1 win, guess I was asking for much. I can't believe people were thinking the Cubs would sweep just because the Diamondbacks aren't good. I knew the Cubs were in trouble precisely BECAUSE the Diamondbacks weren't good.
  12. This [expletive] team can't just lose, they have to do this.
  13. LAST PLACE IN THE NL IN BATTING AVERAGE I don't understand what the hell is wrong with us.
  14. I miss when ND got to start the annual MSU free fall. Maybe next year.
  15. Cause they have a big following, much like Notre Dame has with all of their games still on.I could post the ND coverage map again... Actually it's because I'm unfortunate enough to live in the Indy market. OU/Texas is on and I'm stuck with this.
  16. Why do I have to watch Crappy Big Ten Team 1 (Iowa this week) and Crappy Big Ten Team 2 (Penn State this week) at the 3:30 ABC slot every week?
  17. yep, hit the nail on the head... that is the last thing any of us wants to see...please don't let them do this to you cubs Yup, we've seen that all too often. The 1998 Braves and 2003 Marlins celebrated on our home turf, and I believe both the Cardinals and Astros clinched their playoff births on our field in 2005 Close. Houston clinched their berth against us in 05 but it was in Houston. All else is correct.
  18. CMU 58, Ball State 38. Over 650 yards offense for the Chips. Thanks, guys.
  19. Yeah, it's definitely the Cubs.
  20. It's true...up until last week I wouldn't have even taken ND +14 against Ball State the way BSU's playing.
  21. I did watch both games, though I admit I wasn't paying attention to the last few innings of Game 2.
  22. There was someone in one of my classes today talking about how stupid Cubs fans are for blaming Bartman (this is at least the 5th time I've heard this in the last week). I wasn't wearing Cubs stuff so he didn't know what I was, but I wanted to jack the dude in the face.
  23. While I agree with the Rockies, I doubt I'll be watching. Baseball will be dead to me when the Cubs are eliminated. Go stadium collapse. I love baseball too much to stop watching when the Cubs are done. Heck, I was as eternally pissed off after the 2004 collapse as I've ever been with this team, but I watched all the playoff games I could, and it was worth it.
  24. I never thought I'd be more pumped about Ball State football than any of my other sports teams, but such is the state of said other sports teams. If the Cardinals beat CMU tomorrow they're going to a bowl.
