  1. Those four teams they're playing should be alright, too.
  2. I guess I have to burn my other pre-ASB transaction. Drop Soriano, add Carlos Pena.
  3. Yeah, I believe it was that he was really 26 after the 2003 season when all the A-Rod crap was going down, as opposed to 24. It actually almost killed the entire A-Rod to Yankees deal.
  4. I've been pleasantly surprised by Theriot of late. Hopefully he keeps it up.
  5. This whole "Lou works with Felix while benching him against RHP" thing better end. Very, very soon. Like tomorrow.
  6. This does nothing for me except give me a light bulb on top of my head should the Cubs make the playoffs this year.
  7. I predict DLee hits 2 solo homers and that's the only hits Volquez gives up. Cubs put together a mini-fake rally on F. Cordero but lose 5-3. Oh, and DLee for president.
  8. Brennaman's a prick who has to insert his opinion in all the time, and since it's the Cubs, it's always a very stupid and blinded-by-his-bitterness-at-them opinion to boot.
  9. I want at least 10 by the end of the inning. I love beating up on Dusty Baker's Reds.
  10. We woulda been the wild card though. True, but those who are overly critcal of Baker think the Cubs would be entitled to a WS appearence in '04 if Wood and Prior were healthy. Even with them out there, the Cubs weren't the best in the division. Cubs beat the Cardinals in the season series in 2004 unless I'm mistaken. And I'd have liked to see any team beat a rotation of Wood, Prior and Z in that year's playoffs. People forget that Wood and Prior were looking as good as they ever have towards the end of that season, and Z had the lowest ERA of the three of them.
  11. This is why: .175/.230/.298 Don't forget: .335/.418/.662 (Lee's 2005) I was pretty sick, too.
  12. It was absolutely filthy. I seriously haven't seen a pitch that filthy since... ...Marmol pitched the 8th. (I love those two.)
  13. I would prefer Murton lead off, but I wouldn't be opposed to Fuku doing so either. Even DeRo would be ok, though the way he's hitting it might be best to leave him be. But so help me if it's Theriot...
  14. In case you didn't know, Mizzou, Soriano got hurt doing his hop.
  15. Marmol is nastier than Flames's mom.
  16. WHY IS MARMOL STILL PITCHING???? There is no reason to have 12 freaking pitchers if we're going to run Marmol out for extra innings after he's done his job!!!
  17. Congrats illiniguy :D She's coming into the world on a day where it appears as if we may win. If that holds up I think destiny chose for her. And Felix continues to suck.
  18. For Dusty, you bet it has. I love this team today. Doesn't happen often.
  19. Len was dead wrong - they were booing because it was Dusty, not because it was Fuku. LOL at Misty's dorky compliment.
  20. Remember the hot beach volleyball players from the last Olympics? She was half of that team. The less hot half. I met her a few months ago, though. May is hotter. JMO.
  21. Fontenot saved that inning. Let's finish this thing up.
  22. Feel the rhythm! Feel the ride! Get ready Chicago! IT'S MARMOL TIME!
