TREEEEE-mendous work by Ronny at that plate appearance. -
Lee knocked down a hot shot that happened to roll over to Cedeno's territory, so Lee got out of the way and let Cedeno make the play. It was a great job by Ronny. BTW, Derrek Lee's power may be back.

Everyone's teams added. This has nothing to do with the 2008 season, but the #3 player and #1 RB in the class of '09 according to Scout, Cierre Wood, chose Notre Dame over UCLA today. :D

I didn't want to start a new thread, but I just noticed that Matt Cain went 3 2/3 IP, 9 ER while the immortal Todd Wellemeyer went 7 IP, 1 ER tonight. The pixie dust lives.

Yeah, I think that's probably what his idea is. At least, I would like to think that our manager is capable of thinking ahead that far. Lee continues to be spectacular on defense.

Lou is babying Rich. We have 12 guys in the pen, and Lieber and Marshall haven't done much recently, and Rich is a guy whose success is often related to his confidence. I'm not applauding the move but I certainly understand it.

Not surprising, they've done great work in that department this year. Gerald Perry has been a big help to this team. And in my mind we've already won a couple of games because of walks.
