  1. Welp, the 1-game win streak was fun. At least STL has Wainwright going against yet another crappy pitcher tonight.
  2. Ridiculous, it's not like Bako spent two years with the Cubs and hit 1 combined homer or anything.
  3. Who could have ever predicted that Lieber might struggle with lefties?
  4. Dang, that looked like a flare off the bat.
  5. Damn it, NexDef MLB.TV thing overloads my computer. Ah well. Lieber looking good as always.
  6. I ponied up 30 bucks I don't have for the premium upgrade. It's definitely a lot nicer-looking than regular though.
  7. Why is MLBTV telling me that its regular form is premium form and telling me to pay more for it?
  8. Of HGH? Yeah, that will help a lot. HGH doesn't really help healthy young adult males. If you're injured or want a billion dollar contract you might try anything, but it's basically snake oil. Screaming about PEDs every time Ankiel's name comes up just looks silly. The latest incarnation of the St. Louis Cardinals somehow looking poised to run away with the division again looks pretty silly, too. I guess we just like the silliness.
  9. I'm not sure how I feel about taking Soriano out the day after he finally looked somewhat competent at the plate. Other than that it's a pretty good lineup.
  10. I can't believe Braden Looper almost threw a complete game. If only he had. LaRussa, once again, stupidly left his starter out there too long. Looper threw 114 damn pitches. On top of all their pixie dust, their manager gets away with insanely stupid moves like that.
  11. I seriously want to punch Thom Brennaman in the groin. What an uppity, self-righteous prick.
  12. hahahahahahahahahaha It's getting funnier now because for the first time I can remember, people outside message boards are starting to pick up on the Cardinal pixie dust, i.e. Crasnick's chat the other day.
  13. It would be really nice if Soriano started hitting like he has tonight more often.
  14. I love Dusty. 8 strong for Z. NOW you've gotta think he's done.
  15. Yes there is reason. Those guys should have used up a decades worth of goodluck winning it all in '06. Yet, here we are. They kinda had that one coming for all the years they were legit good and lost in the playoffs, I figure. You must mean all the time. 2005. They lost to a better team all the other times I can remember.
  16. Ridiculous. We're still the best team they have played too.
  17. While Thom is crying for Harang, he may note that, um, Z's ERA is around 1.80 this year. Dustyball lets Z get out of the 7th quickly. Marmol, Wood and let's go home.
  18. Not enough for Looper to become a better than average starter for STL after never having started at the big league level, he's going to start hitting too.
  19. In fairness to Theriot he's been batting behind a pitcher and Soriano much of the season.
  20. I could live with it if Dunn wasn't coming up first.
  21. If I had to guess, I'd say Kennedy struck out, reached on a dropped third strike, and the catcher threw the ball into left field - yes, left not right - and Kennedy managed to score, probably on a blown call.
