  1. The Cubs one-up the Padres. 4 pitch inning.
  2. I don't believe in booing your own players, but that doesn't mean I cheer him.
  3. It is low-risk performance-wise. That doesn't make it less stupid. actually, it does. you see, low-risk means "little risk". Tossing Felix Pie to the minor leagues when we know exactly what will happen with him down there is stupid. I don't care how little risk is involved.
  4. Put the Padres in the http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e67/ndistops/Dumpster.jpg
  5. It is low-risk performance-wise. That doesn't make it less stupid.
  6. Pujols may well be dead in 15 years if he doesn't get his Medicare shipments in time.
  7. So we want a lefty bat to split up the lefties, and then we...don't...split...up...the lefties...
  8. Unless I am much mistaken, that line comes from his mashing Estes in one game with the Jays against us in 2003. I hated him at the time.
  9. We'll see you in Arizona, buddy. And quite possibly again in October.
  10. This is great great news. Our rotation just got better. All the luck in the world to Sean when he pitches on Friday.
  11. There is no earthly way the Cubs should be able to lose this game.
  12. Anyone wanna take a guess whose section that jackoff came out of? (I'll give you a hint. Mine.) Effing moron. I was up four rows dealing with another fan and when i turned around he was climbing over the wall. I'd had problems with him the whole game and could have kicked him out the inning before but I was being nice and let him stay. We see how well that turned out. Haha so it's YOUR fault! :D
  13. I don't see any way on this planet the Bulls would've given D'Antoni close to that much money. Not sure what the Bulls' beef is.
  14. If we beat Randy Johnson to sweep the best team in baseball this really is the year.
  15. In that case they can only give it to Geovany Soto as no one else is worthy of the name.
  16. Down one, first and third no out, a Brewer grounds to SS and Braun gets thrown out at home because he took off on contact. This is probably the 5th time I've seen this happen to Milwaukee and I don't watch more than one game of theirs a week. Yost is awful.
  17. I thought the same thing, but Lilly did have a big hit for us today to tie it, too.
  18. I saw Hee Seop hit one off the scoreboard in 2003 that would be longer than Pujols's if stretched out. But Albert killed that thing.
  19. amazing what can happen when you hand a rookie the starting job out of spring training and actually leave him there Well, Soto's been destroying the ball ever since he came up, it's not like there was really any choice.
  20. Well Reed's an idiot. Silver lining, Wood can get a save.
