    And I just noticed that last year he logged his career high for innings as a reliever, and is on pace to approach that again this year.

    If the Cardinals were limited to output by legitimate MLB hitters, Pujols and Glaus would be the only players they'd be allowed to have.

    There is really no reason to pitch to Ludwick or Pujols with Lopez hitting behind them. Might as well IBB both of them provided there's one or none on when they come up.
