I really doubt he's out more than a few days. DeRo at 3rd, Fontenot at 2nd for the weekend, perhaps.
  2. Andy
He scored, so we don't know yet, but I'd be surprised if he comes back in regardless of the severity.
  3. Andy
Not that I saw. A little bit, but nothing scary bad. He looked pretty much ok.
  4. Andy
That's why I have hope it's not too bad. He didn't look too bad walking off, just angry and easing on his right leg a bit.

Hopefully just a pulled hammy, or something not too serious. He looked ok walking off...

Hahahahaha Oh hell no!!! Aramis is down in pain :(
  7. Andy
Yes. Marshall Saturday, Dempster Sunday and presumably Harden on Monday in Pittsburgh.

I love the Edmonds video, Aramis Fan. Still so surreal to watch. Just keep scoring, Cubs.

This team is ludicrously good. We are just destroying these guys.

Yeah 9 out of 14 heading home isn't all that bad. You really think we get swept in Fla? We always do This team will not be swept by the Marlins. We very well might lose 2 out of the 3, but no sweep. We should win the series since both Z and Demp are going, but this team has a jinx on us or something. FONZIE! CRUSHED!

Aramis the first Cub with 20 homers/30 doubles in 5 straight years since Hack Wilson...

I seriously want him nowhere near the playoff rotation. Z - Harden - Dempster. Repeat. Get Gaudin/Marshall in there. I'd be fine with that also, but I'm not sure Lou would be. I haven't searched the board today - Has Lou named Marshall the starter on Sunday? yes Len and Bob said he'd be going Saturday, with Dempster getting an extra day and going Sunday.

    Effing Kotsay.

Held up to make sure the ball didn't get through...no big problem with that.

Walking Aramis to get to Reed is not going to even remotely work out for Atlanta.

Reed would have to be on there, probably Soriano too. I'll throw out DeRosa, Lee and Blanco as the other three, with Theriot being the worst.

This is a weird statement to make about the third winningest manager of all time. His consistency with every team he's been with is amazing. You and others may not like some of his tactics, but it's really hard to argue with the results. 'Third winningest manager of all time' smacks of using pitcher's W-L to me. You can win a lot of games with Canseco, McGwire and Pujols in your lineups.

That quote doesn't mean a whole lot except to prove that Jimmy has done nothing but say and do all the right things since becoming a Cub.
  22. Andy
Shark will probably end up pitching a few innings after Marshall. Really, the only difference is that Marshall will go first.

Freakin' Chinese just went 1-2 in the women's 200 fly. And some fan tossed a miniature drum into the pool, too...
  24. Andy
The AL East is the best division in baseball and it isn't remotely close.
  25. Andy
    Heartily disagree.
